Blake Mooney, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who cares deeply about the individuals and families that she works with. She is committed to providing compassionate, collaborative, and effective care that is backed by research and tailored to your unique values. She approaches her work by understanding your present situation, creating a comfortable and warm environment that can become a bridge for discomfort, learning, change, and achieving your goals. She values a team approach and collaboration with other providers, such as teachers and psychiatrists, to support children across all environments. Blake specializes in the treatment of anxiety, mood, and behavioral disorders, including, but not limited to generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), social anxiety disorder, and selective mutism (SM).

Blake obtained her B.S. in Human Development and Psychological Services from Northwestern University, where she also played for the lacrosse team and won the National Championship in 2012. She earned a dual Master’s degree in Counseling & Mental Health Services (M.S.Ed) and Professional Counseling (M.Phil.Ed) from The University of Pennsylvania. She has experience working in a variety of clinical and school settings.
Blake has intensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy adapted for Selective Mutism (PCIT-SM), and Supportive Parenting of Anxious Children (SPACE).
