I believe that therapy should be a collaborative, supportive, and empowering experience. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe exploring difficult emotions, navigating life’s challenges, and working toward meaningful change.
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. I have extensive experience supporting first responders, veterans, and individuals coping with complex trauma, and I understand the unique emotional challenges that can arise from both personal and professional experiences. I also work with individuals struggling with communication difficulties, family conflict, and patterns that may be keeping them feeling stuck.
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Together, we work to identify unhelpful patterns, increase insight, and develop practical tools to manage distress and improve overall well-being. I believe that while change can feel uncomfortable, it is often through facing life’s challenges with support that people experience the greatest growth.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I tailor treatment to meet each client’s individual needs, helping clients build coping skills, strengthen relationships, improve emotional regulation, and live in a way that is more aligned with their values.
I understand that finding the right therapist is one of the most important parts of the therapeutic process. I value the therapeutic relationship deeply and believe that meaningful change occurs when clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. My goal is to help clients build resilience, increase self-compassion, and create lasting change both in and outside of therapy.
