If you’re a parent or young person navigating anxiety, self-advocacy, or developmental challenges you don’t have to go alone. As a licensed school psychologist in Florida, I draw on my background in play therapy, psychoeducational assessment, and goal-setting counseling to help children and young adults develop confidence, insight, and meaningful skills. I work with:
- Preschoolers through play therapy, where expressive play becomes a bridge to understanding emotions and behavior
- Elementary to high school students who are struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, school stress, or communication helping them develop self-advocacy and coping strategies
- Young-adults (late teens, early 20s): I offer structured goal setting, life planning, and self-determination sessions so they can navigate transitions with intention and support
- Parents and caregivers who want guidance on how to support social-emotional growth, learning needs, and advocacy at home or school
In addition to therapy, I provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments (including CDE evaluations) to help identify learning strengths, challenges, and support needs. These assessments inform both school-based plans and individual goal setting.
Approach & Philosophy
My approach is warm, strength-based, and tailored: I combine evidence-based practices (e.g., cognitive-behavioral techniques, developmentally appropriate interventions) with play- and relationship-focused work. In therapy, I aim to create a safe and collaborative environment where children and young adults feel seen, understood, and empowered. Whether we’re working through fear and worry, figuring out how to ask for help, or planning entry way to VPK or Kindergarten, transitioning to High School or the next steps after high school, I partner with clients to build insight and self-efficacy. For families, I also offer consultative support and feedback from assessments, helping you translate findings into practical steps.
