Specialties

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and college age students who are navigating anxiety, big emotions, perfectionism, behavioral challenges, identity development, relationship concerns, trauma, and disordered eating. I also work closely with parents, helping them better understand and respond to their child’s emotional and behavioral needs. My goal is to support young people and their families in creating more connection, confidence, and emotional safety, both in and outside of therapy.

I offer a warm, collaborative, and judgment free space where children, teens, young adults, and their caregivers can feel understood and supported. I believe in “being with” my clients through whatever they are navigating, while also providing practical tools to help them manage distress, build emotion regulation skills, and move toward meaningful change.

My approach integrates relational therapy with evidence based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, somatic practices, and trauma informed care. I have experience supporting children with anxiety and emotion regulation difficulties, partnering with parents around behavioral and emotional concerns, and working with adolescents in inpatient settings. My background also includes university counseling centers and LGBTQIA+ community mental health settings. I also welcome professionals, creatives, and LGBTQIA+ individuals into my practice.

Because of my experience as a yoga instructor, I bring an appreciation for embodiment and nervous system awareness into my work. Therapy may include exploring how stress shows up in the body, identifying what helps you or your child stay within a manageable window of tolerance, and developing a deeper understanding of the protective patterns and relationships that have shaped you.

We live in a culture that often treats constant productivity as a virtue, even when our minds and bodies are asking for rest. Together, we can make room for self compassion, emotional awareness, and more intentional choices. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you or your child can build self trust, loosen the grip of perfectionism, strengthen coping skills, and feel more grounded, authentic, and connected.
